Library laptops are available for use in our downstairs meeting room. Library staff will be on hand either to assist with personal projects from job skills to Microsoft Office products, or provide practice materials on computer basics.

Learn the uniquely Chinese dance-like Jian (straight sword) and DaoI (broadsword) forms. The Jian sword form is fairly meditative, while the Daol sword form is quite energetic.

Bring a lunch and learn tools to help reduce your stress.  This one hour workshop will introduce you to mindfulness meditation to reduce stress and gain a deeper understanding of how body, mind and emotions influence health.

Kiddo Yoga, taught by local yoga instructor Leigh Spector-Schultz, offers routines that provide movement, silly play, and dance. Kids, parents, and caregivers can move together with the poses, make silly noises, and dance freely during the class.

Animals from around the world will teach kids about the important role they play on our planet.  See some up close and become a champion for wildlife and wild places.  All ages.

Binders Keepers is a bi-monthly meeting for bookbinding enthusiasts or wannabes. We meet to share creative ideas, techniques, skills, and of course, handmade books. Every meeting also includes a demonstration that is relevant to bookbinding.

Children will explore the science of motion, conduct experiments with balloons, build a marshmallow catapult, and create their own mini "hovercraft." For ages 6 - 12.

Treat yourself! In this program you'll learn how to make your own foot scrub, dry shampoo, lip balm, and chocolate mask. You'll leave with a container of each and instructions so that you can make them at home. All supplies provided.

Self-represented litigants/pro se patrons (representing yourself in court without a lawyer) are welcome for a walk-in session with a volunteer attorney to discuss your legal issue in a 10-15 minute private session.
