All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025. 

Book Folding--Beginning/Intermediate

Event Details

Beginning Class (Mon., Jan. 13, 2 to 4 p.m.):
Learn how to up-cycle a book and turn it into a piece of heart.  The beginning class will present the basic principles of the art of book folding. The participant will leave with a completed heart design.

Participants must complete beginning class to attend Intermediate Class.  Registration in first includes both.  Kindly respect other patrons and register only if you are able to attend both sessions.

Intermediate Class (Wed. Jan. 29, 1 to 3 p.m.):
Learn how to advance your skills in book folding and create a more advanced design.  The two hour intermediate class will build on the skills presented in the basic class.  The participant will leave with a partially completed design and the knowledge and confidence to complete the project at home.
