Art for Older Adults

Art for Older Adults inspires a sense of self-reliance for older adults, even when the participant is somewhat reliant on a partner to help with materials use.

Come speak with a Community Resources Specialist to receive resources or information you are in need of in El Paso County.

Caring For Yourself : PPAAA Retirement Series 

Tell the world about your favorite book! Prepare a creative book report at home and present it informally to other families. You can make a diorama, design a game based on the plot and characters, or make a poster for the movie version.

Take the first steps into designing graphics for laser cutting. Using Inkscape, a free Vector Graphics Software, we will create custom coaster designs to engrave and cut out of 1/8” wood. No previous experience required. Ages 9 and up.

Bag fresh sewing skills! Learn the basics of sewing to create a basic tote bag using a sewing machine.
