Nonprofit Workshops - Grant Writing Basics (Cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic)
Participants will learn about the process of grant writing and elements of a proposal, with tips from foundations. Workshop geared to novice grant writers.
Join local yoga instructor Svetlana Nudelman in this virtual yoga class for beginners and intermediate level practitioners. Zoom link will be emailed to participants prior to the class.
Learn the uniquely Chinese dance-like Jian (straight sword) and DaoI (broadsword) forms. The Jian sword form is fairly meditative, while the Daol sword form is quite energetic.

PPLD Adult Education High School Equivalency (HSE) program offers free classes for adults. Using trained instructors, we will help students who need to obtain GED, HiSET, or TASC credentials, which are the alternative to a high school diploma.

Join us for an after school adventure: jigsaw puzzles, table games, art projects and more. This program is for school aged kids and their siblings.

After School Adventures: STEM- Speed Racer Science (Cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic)
Children attending this program will learn about Newton's First Law of Motion and test it out by building a speed racer to take home. For ages 5-12.
Kids will use all sorts of assorted materials to glue in any pattern/shape/randomness that they want on their vinyl record. This is a process art activity and kids can decorate their vinyl record however they would like. Ages 8-12.
STEM: Physics Lab for Kids (Cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic)
Your child will learn physics concepts by creating a marble run, marble trampolines, and an air blaster. For ages 8-12.

Speak English groups are informal English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills. Each group meets once a week for two hours. Classes are free and no registration is necessary.

Practice upcycling by turning an old t-shirt into a tote bag for yourself! Working with other tweens, weave more old T-shirts into a collaborative piece of artwork to display in the library.
