Each month, we'll create a new quilt block together, drawing from classic American quilt designs. At the end of the year, join your blocks together to create a sampler quilt! In December we will make a Contrary Wife block.

The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District will inaugurate a new series of programs, Meet the Author, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at the East Library, 5550 N.  Union Blvd.  

Create a decorative jar that features moon shapes and peaceful colors. Alternatively, for those interested in the practice of collecting moon water, make a jar geared towards that practice and learn more about moon water collection.
