Pikes Peak Library District is closed Fri., Jan. 16, for staff development and Mon., Jan. 19, to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The eLibrary, as well as other online services and resources, will still be available.

Event Details

The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District will inaugurate a new series of programs, Meet the Author, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17 at the East Library, 5550 N.  Union Blvd.  

The author will be Dian Curtis Regan, the author of numerous children’s books for all ages. She is a past Golden Quill winner and will tell  the story of her journey as an author.  She will also talk about “the gift of reading”  to tie in with the holidays. She will sell and autograph copies of her book at the event.
