Library laptops are available for use in our downstairs meeting room. Library staff will be on hand either to assist with personal projects from job skills to Microsoft Office products, or provide practice materials on computer basics.

Learn the uniquely Chinese dance-like Jian (straight sword) and DaoI (broadsword) forms. The Jian sword form is fairly meditative, while the Daol sword form is quite energetic.

PPLD Adult Education High School Equivalency (HSE) program offers free classes for adults. Using trained instructors, we will help students who need to obtain GED, HiSET, or TASC credentials, which are the alternative to a high school diploma.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Join Barbara Mills from Springs French Music Lingua for a unique program that teaches French to children ages 8 and under using a fun mix of music, movement, art, drama and storytelling!

PPLD Adult Education Tutor

Join us for an after school adventure: jigsaw puzzles, table games, art projects and more. This program is for school aged kids and their siblings.

Celebrate 100 years of the Women's Suffrage Movement and the passing of women's right to vote by making thematic brooches. We'll offer a low-sew option and a pendant option.

Kids can practice reading aloud and improve fluency by sharing a story with one of our lovable Paws to Read Therapy dogs!

Children will explore the science of motion, conduct experiments with balloons, build a marshmallow catapult, and create their own mini "hovercraft." For ages 6 - 12.

Is math homework getting you down? Are finals freaking you out? Do you need to brush up before the ACT, SAT, or GED? Our experienced math tutors can help you improve your grades and take the stress out of math.

Join us to  learn the basics of 3D modeling in TinkerCAD and use those skills to create a personalized luggage tag or key chain. You will leave with the file and a coupon to print it for free at any Makerspace in the library district.

What is it? Using the scientific method,  your child will test and identify common mystery substances in this hands-on program. For ages 5 - 12.

Make your own Minecraft masterpiece or a magical modern memento! You will draw your own mosaic design, or copy an example, and fill it in with square stickers.
Ages 9-12.

Coffee = life. Customize a coffee mug with vinyl stickers and then learn how to hand sew a cute sleeve for it! All supplies provided. Ages 12 - 18. Registration Required.

Speak English groups are informal English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills. Each group meets once a week for two hours. Classes are free and no registration is necessary.
