Join us online and learn to use PPLD resources to improve your computer skills. This is a virtual learning opportunity using Northstar Online Learning System. Northstar’s self-paced online modules help you gain basic computer skills and earn a badge or certificate to verify your skills.

This learning experience consists of two (2) online Zoom meetings.

  • Orientation meeting: Learn how to access the online, self-paced modules and start learning.

  • Follow-up: Review the content, ask questions, and take a certification exam.

Be aware that this class does NOT include in-person instruction, but helps you use PPLD resources for self-directed learning.

There's no cost to participate; all registrants will receive a Zoom link and instructions (via email) in advance.

What you’ll need

  • Internet access and a computer - at home or in one of our library locations

  • A valid email address

  • The Zoom app (instructions sent before meeting)
