East Library will begin an elevator modernization project lasting approximately six weeks on Wed., March 12.

Beginners will learn to code with Google! Using an evaluated curriculum from the computer scientists at Google, youth will learn basic computational thinking concepts through block coding in Scratch. The theme of this series is "Game Design." Participants will learn basic video game coding concepts by making different types of games, including racing, platform, and launching.  The series meets M-Th from 2-3pm from 11 - 21 July.  Participants should be able to make 6/8 sessions.
