Ruth Holley Library will be temporarily closed for approximately one week starting Mon., Dec. 2 to complete roof repairs.

All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Event Details

  Discover quick and fun dyeing using acid dyes and silk scarf blanks. In this introductory workshop with Julia Bannerot you will create multiple silk scarves and fabric samples. Learn some basic shibori folding and wrapping techniques to create beautiful patterns. Into the dye pot they go and there the magic happens. No experience necessary. Open to ages 12-18. Registration required.
