Program Description

Event Details

This class series will introduce participants to a user-friendly CAD (Computer Assisted Design) program called SketchUp. Participants will learn SketchUp by using techniques to build a house using the tool. Next, participants will design and build a small wooden box with their own personal lettering and designs on the box’s exterior using the tools SketchUp and Laser. All supplies will be provided. No prior knowledge is required.

This class will be presented by O'Toolin Around, a community member of Monumental Impact. Many of Monumental Impact’s community members, both students and adults, rely on their 3D design capabilities to build reliable robots for competitions and to translate their creative ideas into reality. Ages 9 and up.
