Before you give up on your old clothes, join us to learn garment mending skills and give your existing wardrobe an upgrade! In this 4-part cumulative series, you'll learn practical sewing skills including how to hem, patch, and adjust the fit of your existing garments, and new ways to customize your clothes to suit your own unique style. Simple hand sewing and machine sewing techniques will be introduced, and a variety of fabrics, buttons, and pre-existing garments will be available for your deconstruction and use.
Do you have a shirt that doesn't quite fit? A pair of pants that's always been a bit too short? A sweater with a hole? Bring them along!
When you register, you are registering for all classes in the series (4 Monday night sessions from 6/1 to 6/22). You must commit to and attend all four classes to complete this series.
