This month we will have special speaker. Local author and historian Sarah Byrn Rickman shares the remarkable stories of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs) of World War II. The WASPs were instrumental to the United States war effort in the skies. At the time, 1,102 WASPs flew aircraft from the point of aircraft production in the United States to training and transportation sites.
