The Regional History & Genealogy department will be closed on Sat., June 7 and Sat., June 14 to host the 2025 Pikes Peak Regional History Symposium.

East Library will begin an elevator modernization on Wed., March 12.

Kids and teens can enjoy lunch (and books) at no cost this summer! 

 

in partnership with Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD), Colorado Springs School District 11 will bring their mobile unit to distribute lunches at East Library every weekday beginning Wed., May 28 through Fri., Aug. 1 (except for Fri., July 4). Meal service will be available 11 a.m. - noon, Monday - Friday, along with a basket of age-appropriate books from which kids and teens can take a book. Lunches are provided at no cost to kids and teens up to age 18. Adult lunches are available for $5.

The Summer Food Service Program, funded by USDA, provides nutritious meals to all children and teens ages 0 - 18. There are no income or registration requirements for participation.
