Program Description

Event Details

The purpose of this class is to teach basic soldering. At the end of the class, you will have a finished light-up necklace using a circuit board with LEDs. The skills that you will be learning are soldering on a circuit board, soldering safety, and an understanding of circuitry. Ages 12 and up. All supplies will be provided. No prior knowledge is necessary.

This is the first class of a three-class series provided by interns with Monumental Impact to share their knowledge of electronics and circuits with PPLD’s community. Many of Monumental Impact’s interns are Bearbotics robotics team members who rely on their electronics and soldering capabilities to build a reliable robot for competitions.
