Ruth Holley Library will be temporarily closed for approximately one week starting Mon., Dec. 2 to complete roof repairs.

All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Event Details

The GED and HiSET are alternatives to a high school diploma. PPLD offer Adult Basic Education (ABE) and High School Equivalency (HSE) free classes that will help adults for such tests. We offer preparation for Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science tests. 

The enrollment process requires attending ABE/HSE Orientation and have a placement test; then attend classes, studying, and finally passing all battery exams for the credential sought. For upcoming Orientation dates, regularly check our website: https://ppld.org/ged
