All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Event Details

Homeschoolers will be introduced to the many variations of Japanese koi fish and their habitat, then create a 3-D koi, and paint it in realistically bright colors. Artists will apply paint to design a splashing waterfall background to place the koi in, and may add their “signature” in Japanese characters as a finishing touch to their aquatic masterpiece. For ages 7-12.
