When the British passenger liner, Titanic, set sail on its maiden voyage on April 10, 1912, it was the largest, most luxurious ship in the world. It was described as “unsinkable.” At this program, homeschoolers will learn about the history of the Titanic, examine the engineering mistakes made by the ship’s engineers, and test principles such as buoyancy and overflow. For ages 5-12.
We know there are all kinds of kids with all kinds of needs, so if your child might benefit from some sensory accommodations like fidget items or noise-reducing headphones while in the library or at a program, ask at the Children’s Desk for our Sensory Accommodations Kit!
