Ruth Holley Library will be temporarily closed for approximately one week starting Mon., Dec. 2 to complete roof repairs.

All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Event Details

Orion, the Hunter, is one of the few constellations that looks like what it is supposed to be. It is not hard to envision a hunter holding a shield and a sword, defending himself against a charging Taurus the Bull. Constellations tell stories.  And as participants in this hands-on activity, you will create a glow-in-the-dark constellation of your own and tell the story behind its meaning. Presented by the Space Foundation Discovery Center. Registration is required.
