Tue., Jan. 13: Cheyenne Mountain Library is opening on a delayed start of 11 a.m. due to plumbing issues.

Pikes Peak Library District is closed Fri., Jan. 16, for staff development and Mon., Jan. 19, to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The eLibrary, as well as other online services and resources, will still be available.

Join us for an after school adventure! You provide the imagination, we provide the supplies. Something new every week! This project, inspired by Jeff Koons' iconic Balloon Dog series, is just plain fun! Kids will create their own brightly colored balloon dog from a series of ovals by adding a few swipes of paint to give their dog the illusion of round, shiny form. And, since Koons' colorful sculptures are large enough to be displayed outdoors, a whimsical cityscape is the perfect background for the collaged dog. Ages 7-12.
