Young Frankenstein from 1974, rated PG, starring Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Cloris Leachman, and Teri Garr. Description: A brain surgeon who inherits a family castle in Transylvania soon becomes obsessed with making his own monster after learning the family secrets.

12:15-1:45 p.m.

Beetlejuice from 1988, rated PG, starring Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O'Hara, Winona Ryder, and Michael Keaton. Description: After Barbara and Adam Maitland are killed in a car crash, they find themselves trapped as ghosts in their beautiful New England farmhouse. Their peaceful 'existence' is disrupted when a yuppie family, the Deetz's, buy their house. The Maitlands are too nice and harmless as ghosts and all their efforts to scare the Deetz's away are unsuccessful. They decide to call to Beetlejuice, a people-exorcizing ghost, for help.

Hocus Pocus from 1993, rated PG, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, Omri Katz, Thora Birch, and Vinessa Shaw. Description: After 300 years, three sister witches are resurrected in Salem Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it us up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to the witches' reign of terror once and for all.

Monster House from 2006, rated PG, animated with voices by Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner, Spencer Locke, Steve Buscemi, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Lee, Kevin James, Nick Cannon, Catherine O'Hara, Fred Willard, Ryan Newman, Jon Heder, and Kathleen Turner. Description: A suburban home has become physically animated by a vengeful human soul looking to stir up trouble from beyond the grave, and it's up to three adventurous kids from the neighborhood to do battle with the structural golem in this comically frightful tale.
