Are you interested in working in the food industry or looking for your first culinary job? Join us in our commercial grade kitchen at Library 21c for two days of introduction to the food industry and foundational skills needed to enter this workforce. Participants will learn basic food safety practices for preparing and serving food, get hands-on practice with knife techniques, and complete their ServSafe Food Handler certification by the end of the second day. Both days are required with registration. For ages 16-24.
