All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025. 

Clay Exploration: Mini Planters

Event Details

Join us and experiment with clay at the Sand Creek Library Makerspace in a two-part class. In part one you will learn how to shape a project out of clay, and in part two you will learn how to glaze it. Take your finished creation home to enjoy at the end of the month.

This month's project is Mini Planters. All skill levels are welcome and all supplies will be provided. Ages 9 and up. Ages 9 - 11 must be accompanied by an adult. Note: signing up for this class will automatically register you for the second class on Thu., May 15. 

Another session of this class will be held on Thu., May 8 and Thu., May 22, featuring the same project, in order to accommodate more students. Please only register for one session of Clay Exploration per month.
