All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

**If a student signs up for both the 'Sculpture of Clay Figures' and the 'Racing Hot Wheels Cars' classes, they may choose to continue sculpting and painting on Thursday and Friday.**


Choices available:

  • Paint sculptures
  • Fold paper into 3-D geometric shapes
  • Find volume of 3-D paper geometric shapes

Learning Outcome:

  • Sculpt clay figures
  • Use tools to make sculptures out of clay
  • Practice use of 3D geometry shapes
  • Standard and metric measurement

**Students may continue to sculpt and paint on 12/30 and 12/31, please wear an old t-shirt to wear over clothes or have student wear clothes which are ok to get clay and paint on them.**
