Event Details
**If a student signs up for both the 'Sculpture of Clay Figures' and the 'Racing Hot Wheels Cars' classes, they may choose to continue sculpting and painting on Thursday and Friday.**
Objective:
Have fun collecting data and graphing the results
- Racing Hot Wheels cars - Which is the farthest? Which travels the farthest? Which has the greatest mass?
- Racing paper airplanes - Which goes the fastest, farthest, or highest?
- Comparing 'Poppers' - Which popper pops highest?
Learning Outcome:
- How to collect and graph data
- How to interpret graphs
- Standard and metric measurement
- Learn Bernoulli's Principle
- Learn that Distance/Speed = Time
- Learn that Distance/Time = Speed
**If a student signs up for both the 'Sculpture of Clay Figures' and the 'Racing Hot Wheels Cars' classes, they may choose to continue sculpting and painting on Thursday and Friday.**
**If student was in the 12/28 and 12/29 sculpture class and is continuing to sculpt and paint on 12/30 and 12/31, please wear an old t-shirt to wear over clothes or have student wear clothes which are ok to get clay and paint on them.**
