A career search starts before you write a resume and begin applying for jobs. Searching for a career also includes identifying your skills and interests, considering what you value and enjoy doing, and exploring different paths to learn what type of training and education they might require.

Pikes Peak Library District offers career navigation services to help you remove barriers and connect to resources, tools, and training to prepare you to be successful in the workplace.

Our career navigator services offer a broad range of information and assistance for our patrons including:

  • Career exploration: goal planning, career pathways, and job search techniques.
  • Job skills preparation: learn how to write a resume and a cover letter, how to submit job applications, and how to achieve interviewing skills.
  • Learn about Job Search & Career Tools resources and services using your Pikes Peak Library District card.
  • Already have a resume? Let us help!

If you are interested in a personalized review of your application materials including your resume, cover letter, and application, make an appointment.

Reach out and meet with our career navigator during offices hours (first come, first serve), or make an appointment by phone or email (for a one-hour meeting and we will reply to you in the next three business days after receiving the request).
