Program Description

Event Details

In this two-part class, participants can expect to gain practical experience with Blender, a 3D design tool. Patrons will leave with a digital representation of a character they design themselves that could be 3D printed at the Library. Blender is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software tool that is used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, and models for 3D printing and virtual reality.

This class will be presented by community members of Monumental Impact who will share their knowledge of exploring and creating with PPLD’s community. Many of Monumental Impact’s community members, both students and adults, rely on their 3D design capabilities to build reliable robots for competitions and translate their creative ideas to reality. Ages 13 and up.
