  • Acceptable Items to Bring: Bikes - Clothing - Small Appliances - Small Electronics - Jewelry - Wooden Items
    • Textiles West will have volunteers available in the 513 building of the MAC to help with fabric repairs (i.e., ripped curtains or couch cushions, clothing with lost buttons, holes, ripped hems, etc.). Bring items needing hand mending (visible mending and patching) and sewing machine mending but not zipper replacements.

The Repair Cafe is offered in partnership with the Manitou Art Center, Pikes Peak Makerspace, Textiles West, and the international Repair Cafe initiative.

Logistics:

This program will take place in the wood shop of the Manitou Art Center 515 building, located in the large room at the back of the building, past the cafe and Grand Hallway Art Gallery. For textile repairs, Textiles West volunteers can be found in the back of the 513 building, across the courtyard.

The parking lot between the 513 and 515 buildings is available for attendees, as well as the free parking lot located at Hiawatha Gardens/Tajine Alami, behind the Chase Bank on Manitou Ave.
