This adult group discusses all kinds of subjects such as philosophy, religions, politics, morality, and the common threads among humanity. All are welcome to attend this well-moderated and thought-provoking group.

Speak English groups are informal English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills. Each group meets once a week for two hours. Classes are free and no registration is necessary.

During Open Hours MAKE @ East is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

Learn to code with Google!  Using an evaluated curriculum from the computer scientists at Google, youth will learn basic computational thinking concepts through block coding.  The theme of this camp is "Friends". Ages 9-15 only.

Mark Hellerstein presents a program of laughs, music, audience participation, a touch of magic and storytelling for of all ages. Families will enjoy silly hand puppets and a full stage marionette show of Jack and the Beanstalk.
