Join local yoga instructor Svetlana Nudelman in this virtual yoga class for beginners and intermediate level practitioners. Zoom link will be emailed to participants prior to the class.

During Open Hours MAKE @ East is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

Shake those wiggles out and have some fun! This 30-minute program consists of music and movement activities and a story. For two and three-year-old children, with a favorite adult.

Babies from birth to 12 months, with a favorite adult, enjoy songs, bouncing action rhymes, and sharing a book together. Each interactive session gives babies the opportunity to hear lots of language and play with other babies. Space is limited.

Description Coming Soon! A Taste of PILLAR II is a monthly series of classes offered by PILLAR Institute for Lifelong Learning and PPLD at various library locations.  

Speak English groups are informal English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills. Each group meets once a week for two hours. Classes are free and no registration is necessary.

Come join Steve for a second program filled with music and humor, as he performs his hit songs. Be prepared to laugh and sing, and bring your dancing shoes! For all ages.

We'll be using tempera paint and brushes to create brightly colored and textured paper. After reading a favorite book or two by Eric Carle, we'll use our special paper to create stars and moons to make a mobile. For ages 5 - 12.

Your child can practice reading and build fluency by reading to a specially trained Paws to Read dog.

Designed for school-age kids, this come-and-go program takes place during open hours in the ERC on most Mondays in June and July. Each program features a different art, craft, or STEM activity. No registration required.

Learn to code with Google! Using an evaluated curriculum from the computer scientists at Google, learn basic computational thinking concepts through block coding.

Join fellow cat enthusiasts, and hopefully a few extroverted cats, for a virtual cat cafe! Meet nearby cats and their humans, learn how cats and their humans are making the most of time at home, and challenges everyone may be facing.
