Monthly meeting for East Adult Team.

This adult book group meets the first Friday of every month at 9:00 a.m.  The discussion book for this meeting is The Power, by Naomi Alderman.

Are you frustrated with your smartphone? Confused by the Internet? Come get your questions answered about your smartphone, tablet, computer or eReader.

Informal English language conversation groups for adults who speak some English (intermediate to advanced levels). Group meets once a week for two hours, no registration required, and no cost involved.

During Open Hours, the SA Makerspace is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

April is National Poetry Month! Join PPLD as we host the Golden Lotus Foundation for an afternoon of haiku writing and watercolor painting.

This fun program introduces children to Mo Willems’s Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs, a laugh-out-loud funny version of a classic tale!

Help with library programs, events, and decorate the Teen Space at Penrose! Teen Volunteer applications required. Ages 12-18 only. 

Friday night is movie night! Join PPLD on Fridays at 4pm for weekly movie discussions. Each week we will feature several movies from PPLD’s streaming movie service, Kanopy, then host curated discussions about the selected movies.

Join us for an after school adventure! You provide the imagination, we provide the supplies. Something new every week! Today we are making scrabble tile pendants. Ages 7-12.

Children may practice reading skills by reading to a Canine Good Citizen certified dog.

Try a new game or play old favorites! We'll have a variety of games for you to play. Snacks will be provided.

Celebrate Earth Month by upcycling an old t-shirt into a tote bag! T-shirts will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

First Friday of every month, April-December. Join us for light refreshments, and to view the art on display in our meeting room and display case. Then embark on the First Friday Art Walk through the rest of Old Colorado City.
