Informal English language conversation groups for adults who speak some English (intermediate to advanced levels). Group meets once a week for two hours, no registration required, and no cost involved.

During Open Hours, the SA Makerspace is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

Show off your creativity with this family event. Please do not bring your own LEGOs and all masterpieces remain at the library. (However, donations are gladly accepted!) Join us on the fourth Friday of the month.

Winter Adult Reading Program

Take turns reading a classic myth together around the table, while enjoying a pizza meal! 

Children may practice reading skills by reading to a Canine Good Citizen certified dog.

Celebrate our natural environment! Experience a visit with a variety of snakes from Nature's Educators. Discover how to identify which snakes are venomous, learn what snakes eat, find out where they live, and how they find their prey.

Your child will use process art to create a colorful sensory tile with fun, assorted materials and a vinyl record that they can display at home! Ages 5-12
