The Bring Your Own Book Club meets once a month at Ute Pass Library on select Saturdays. Each month we will draw a different genre and book club members will be able to choose which book they read, and share their thoughts with the group.
The Friends of the Pikes Peak Library District will inaugurate a new series of programs, Meet the Author, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the East Library, 5550 N. Union Blvd.
Bring a disease- and pest-free indoor plant or cutting to swap for a plant to take home. Bring a non-perishable food item and take home two plants. All food donations will go to Care and Share Food Bank.
Drum Circle with the Cousars
Join the Cousars to learn about drumming and participate in a drum circle. Learn about Balphons and Balongi, and other percussion instruments. Participants are welcome to bring Jembe or Conga drums to participate in the class.
