Weekly meeting of the marketing team. 

For adults wanting to improve their workplace and every day English language skills. Classes provide instruction in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Registration is required.

PPLD Adult Education High School Equivalency (HSE) program offers free classes for adults. Using trained instructors, we will help students who need to obtain GED, HiSET, or TASC credentials, which are the alternative to a high school diploma.

Creative programming designed for adults. Registration Required. Ages 18+

This adult group discusses all kinds of subjects such as philosophy, religions, politics, morality, and the common threads among humanity. All are welcome to attend this well-moderated and thought-provoking group.

Speak English groups are informal English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills. Each group meets once a week for two hours. Classes are free and no registration is necessary.

During Open Hours MAKE @ East is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

Are you frustrated with your smartphone? Confused by the Internet? Come get your questions answered about your smartphone, tablet, computer or eReader.

During Open Hours, Make II is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

Grab your favorite beverage and join us for a virtual current events discussion moderated by PPLD staff. Topics of discussion can range from current events to pop culture to gardening to a favorite book you are reading.

Join other intermediate to native speakers to practice your German conversation skills!

Interested in volunteering for the library? Come to Advisory Board to learn about upcoming programs you can volunteer at, or help plan future programs. Either way, your feedback is appreciated!

Join us for a film discussion every week! Each week we will feature 5 different film selections from PPLD's streaming services. You will have all week to watch the film, then join us for the discussion Tuesday evening at 6pm.

Want to take your book folding game up a notch? This program teaches more advanced paper folding techniques. Participants must be 16+.  Registration is required.
