Weekly meeting of the marketing team. 

For adults wanting to improve their workplace and every day English language skills. Classes provide instruction in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Registration is required.

PPLD Adult Education High School Equivalency (HSE) program offers free classes for adults. Using trained instructors, we will help students who need to obtain GED, HiSET, or TASC credentials, which are the alternative to a high school diploma.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation help to anyone, and if you’re 50 and older and can’t afford a tax preparation service we were made especially for you.

Poetry Heals brings therapeutic poetry writing to people living difficult lives. We will write together in groups and individually, sharing tools that are positive, effective, portable and affordable.

Struggling with your laptop, tablet, or smartphone? Bring your device and a staff member can assist you in troubleshooting the device.

You must register for one of the five slots available.

Winter Adult Reading Program

Create your favorite constellation using embroidery floss and some basic stitches.

Registration Required. Ages 18+

Group badging class where you will learn how to use the Laser Cutter / Engraver.

Programs for adults of all abilities. Enjoy creating a unique greeting card to celebrate Valentine's Day or another spring holiday. Supplies and refreshments will be provided. Please call Taryn at ext. 6133 for more information.

Speak English groups are informal English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills. Each group meets once a week for two hours. Classes are free and no registration is necessary.

During Open Hours MAKE @ East is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.
