Informal English language conversation groups for adults who speak some English (intermediate to advanced levels). Group meets once a week for two hours, no registration required, and no cost involved.

* To enroll into an ESL (English as a Second Language) class, you need to attend the mandatory orientation.
* Orientation will take TWO to THREE hours to complete. Not necessary to pre-register, just show up.

During Open Hours, the Sand Creek Makerspace is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

An all-ages knitting group that meets every Wednesday in the Study Room. Practice materials are provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials! Some instruction provided for those new to the world of knitting.

If you’re interested in other cultures and countries, this book club is for you. We will be exploring a multitude of places through the written word. We read mostly fiction books, but occasionally, we read a non-fiction story, as well.
