Dig deeper into laser design with Inkspace! Starting with the simple designs, we will build our knowledge and create unique box designs. Customize and create works of art that you can print at the Library.
Creative space agreement: Patrons under 18 will need a signed Creative Space Use Agreement for Minors (en español) to use the makerspaces. You are encouraged to submit this at the class so that we have it on file. You must be at least 9 years of age to be in the makerspaces or to attend this class. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Creative space badges: Your completed badges will be added to your library card. If you don’t have a library card, you can sign up online or in person at any Library location. Join us and start making today!
Learn to code in Scratch! In this introductory course from the computer scientists at Google, youth will learn basic computational thinking concepts through block coding. The theme is Art!
Sensory accommodations: The Service Desk can provide sensory accommodation items such as fidget toys or noise-reducing headphones for you or your child to use while in the Library. If these will benefit your Library experience, please ask about our Sensory Accommodations Kit!
