Kids can practice reading aloud and improve fluency by sharing a story with one of our lovable Paws to Read Therapy dogs!

Make a bubbluriam using simple materials, observing and exploring the science of bubbles. What makes them so colorful? How can I tell when a bubble is about to pop? Each child will also make their own bubble blower! For ages 5-12.

Children focus on two Reggio-inspired practices - the use of loose parts and other inspiring materials and the role of collaboration and co-construction. They can work together or alone to create geometric art. For ages 5 - 12.

Make fun button flowers, pictures out of buttons, and button cars that really go. Let your imagination be your guide. For ages 9-12. This program takes place in the Children’s Activity Room at East Library from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
