Pikes Peak Library District is offering a five-week training program that helps you learn the skills you need to become a qualified prep cook or line cook.

The GED and HiSET  are alternatives to a high school diploma. PPLD offer Adult Basic Education (ABE) and High School Equivalency (HSE) free classes that will help adults for such tests. We offer preparation for Language Arts, Social

Join Pikes Peak Library District and The Colorado School For The Deaf and The Blind (CSDB) for a bilingual Storytime and Playgroup! Books will be read in American Sign Language and English.

Babies from birth to 12 months, with a favorite adult, enjoy songs, bouncing action rhymes, and sharing a book together. Each interactive session gives babies the opportunity to hear lots of language and play with other babies.

Join us for open-ended play! We'll have fun toys to enhance your child's early literacy learning. Meet new friends and have fun playing together. For ages 0-5 years old. No registration required.

Play Battleship like you've never played it before - in full size!

A yoga class for all, focusing on linking breath and movement.  The practice introduces traditional yoga sequences where one pose "flows" into the next.  Perfect for beginners, but leaves lots of room to incorporate more challenging pose

Join us and learn to use PPLD resources to improve your computer skills. This learning experience consists of three (3) in-person classes.

Need math help? Come work with our community volunteer tutors. All grade levels welcome. No reservations necessary. Tutors available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Start your 3D printing and designing journey with PPLD! We will create and print custom buttons using TinkerCAD, a free, online 3D designing software. Get creative with your designs and your fashion choices. No previous experience required.

Beginners can learn to code with Google in Scratch! Using an evaluated curriculum from the computer scientists at Google, youth will learn basic computational thinking concepts through block coding.

Use your creativity to paint and decorate rocks to hide around outside or display at home! Ages 5 - 12.

Speak English groups are fun English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills.

Each group meets once a week for two hours to practice English.
