Beginners will learn to code with Google! Using an evaluated curriculum from the computer scientists at Google, youth will learn basic computational thinking concepts through block coding in Scratch.

Practice reading aloud and improve fluency by sharing a story with one of our lovable Paws to Read therapy dogs.

Need extra food for you and your family? Pikes Peak Library District partners with Care & Share Food Bank to bring their “grocer on wheels” to patrons weathering life’s storms.

Interested in learning to sew? Learn the basics of using a sewing machine, including threading, filling a bobbin, and executing basic stitches, as we create custom tote bags. All materials will be provided.

Play D&D with other tweens, led by our very own Dragon Master Alli!

New members are always welcome and no experience is required. Ages 9-12.

Step up your Inkscape skills and think outside the box! Or inside the box. Or how about the box itself? We will make custom boxes using Inkscape and the laser engraver/cutter in this hands-on workshop.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In this program, your child will get to demonstrate it when using the air cannon they will create! For ages 5-12.
