The VSPC locations below are open the following days and hours:

Election Day, Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Children ages 3 and up, with a favorite adult, experience stories through books, flannelboards, puppets, songs, and activities.

One and two-year old children, with a favorite adult, participate in nursery rhymes, music and movement, and listen to a few short books.

Bring a blanket and enjoy stories and rhymes outside. Families with children of all ages are welcome.

In the event of inclement weather (rain, snow, or extreme temperatures), the program will be modified and moved indoors.

SET TIME

Join us for open-ended play! We'll have fun toys to enhance your child's early literacy learning. Meet new friends and have fun playing together. For ages 0-5 years old. No registration required.

Shake those wiggles out and have some fun! This 30-minute program consists of music and movement activities and a story with a favorite adult.

For ages 2-3

These informal gatherings for seniors offer information sharing, networking, discussions, and coffee. All are welcome.

Kids will learn how to perform some cool science experiments with simple items they may have at home, then watch in amazement as we SUPER-SIZE each one during the show for even more excitement! For all ages!

Senior Lunch and a Movie

You bring your lunch and PPLD will bring the movie! Join us and other patrons as we enjoy a monthly movie during lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Registration is not required but is encouraged.

Silver Key Service Extension (Grab N' Go Meals Calhan) provides delicious and nutritious meals to eligible diners, promoting good health.  

Speak English groups are fun English language conversation groups for adults with intermediate and advanced English skills.

Each group meets once a week for two hours to practice English.

PPLD's  community resource supervisor will be onsite the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at Cheyenne Mountain Library to assist patrons.

Practice reading aloud and improve fluency by sharing a story with one of our lovable Paws to Read therapy dogs.

Children may practice reading skills by reading to a Canine Good Citizen certified dog.
