Program Description
Event Details
Mystery is one of the hardest genres to write because of the myriads of moving parts in play to create a puzzle at any given time. Then the ending must be a dramatically satisfying event for the reader. This is where the twist comes into play. It's one of the most used tools in a mystery writer’s toolbox (as well as other genres like romance) and that's because readers love twists as they often lead to that satisfying ending. Take a deep dive into mystery mechanics and learn how to determine if a twist ending is right for your story, kinds of twist endings, when to use them, and how to ensure they will be deeply satisfying to your readers. Presented by Kim Olgren, President, Pikes Peak Writers.
