All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.  The eLibrary and other online services and resources will still be available.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Tell your story! 

If you are unhoused in Colorado Springs, you have a story. A story that needs to be heard. You can tell your story and give a voice to many who never will.  

Join PPLD’s “We Have a Story” project and tell your story through photography and oral history.  

For a week in July, you will receive training in digital photography from a professional. Then you will tell your story by taking pictures of your world. Your photos will be posted on our website and exhibited at libraries. You will tell your story also by meeting patrons at a public reception. And you will tell your story by sitting down with an oral historian and recording your story for future generations.
