Pikes Peak Library District is closed Fri., Jan. 16, for staff development and Mon., Jan. 19, to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The eLibrary, as well as other online services and resources, will still be available.

Event Details

Artist Mike Pach will open his Then and Now exhibit as a part of the Colorado Springs Sesquicentennial. At 6pm, Colorado Springs Mayor John Suthers, PPLD Chief Librarian and CEO John Spears, and Pioneers Museum Curator of History Leah Davis Witherow will deliver opening remarks. A short documentary about the Then and Now project and a music video will be debuted. Afterwards patrons can explore the newly installed exhibit.
