TEXTILES-Frame Loom Weaving

Not ready to deep dive into weaving on a multi-harness floor loom? Start with this small but versatile tabletop loom I developed especially for weaving with soft, pliable, and washable chenille-type yarn. This yarn is ideal for a bedside rug that is soft, colorful and easy to weave.

Keep for yourself or give to a friend as a housewarming gift.

Supplies

A loom with clamps will be available on-site for your use over a 3-day period. You may purchase the loom for $30 (optional).

Participants will bring 3 skeins of chenille or polyester blended yarn that has minimum of 100 yards per skein.

Color choices are at your discretion but for this exercise, we suggest one skein is variegated and the two other skeins are solid color, either complementary or contrasting in color.
