Do you have a fancy digital camera that you don’t really know how to use? Do you end up shooting everything on the auto setting, essentially reducing it to a glorified point-n-shoot? Then this class is for you. Learn the fundamentals of how cameras record light (images) so that you will understand what the camera is doing and how to adjust settings manually when necessary to achieve your desired results.

Offered with a unique and entertaining approach, this highly interactive course utilizes a hands-on demonstration setting. All theoretical concepts will be demonstrated in the classroom, so nothing is left to the imagination. Students will assist in practical exercises that will break down the main photographic principles one by one, resulting in the participants having a thorough understanding of the basics of photography by the time the class is over.

It is not necessary to bring a camera to class. However, if you do, please make sure you know how to adjust the major functions (shutter, aperture and ISO). Ages 16+.
