Ruth Holley Library will be temporarily closed for approximately one week starting Mon., Dec. 2 to complete roof repairs.

All Pikes Peak Library District locations will close at 6 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27 and will be closed on Thu., Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Rockrimmon Library will close on Sun., Dec. 1.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed to prepare for its move in early 2025.

Join us for an evening of Colorado history! To celebrate Colorado History Month, we'll host a live chat while streaming the Rocky Mountain PBS documentary, Cheers to Beers. While watching the documentary, you can chat with PPLD's Special Collections staff.

The history of Colorado may best be seen through the bottom of a beer mug. From quenching the thirst of Gold Rush miners in the 1800's to modern craft brews pouring $3 billion into Colorado’s economy, beer has either borne witness to or helped create some of the most interesting chapters in the state’s history. Meet the pioneers of this now booming industry. Cheers!
