Do you have a passion for your neighborhood? And want to actively participate in building and shaping your community? CONO can help prepare you (for free!) to effectively engage and organize your community!

Neighborhood University is a 10-week course designed to establish a foundation of civic knowledge for engaged citizens in Colorado Springs and El Paso County. The goal is to educate, empower, and equip residents to serve as effective community leaders. Individuals who participate in Neighborhood University will be eligible to serve as leaders within CONO’s Neighborhood Networks.

This orientation is specifically for the Spring 2023 course (which run from mid-March to mid-April), in partnership with the Library District. Registration is open through February. The Fall course will be offered in October/November.
