Pikes Peak Library District is closed Fri., Jan. 16, for staff development and Mon., Jan. 19, to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. The eLibrary, as well as other online services and resources, will still be available.

Description

Space Foundation Discovery Center's Homeschool Days support K-12 students and their families by integrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) into exciting laboratory and classroom lessons. Participate in an educator-led workshop, Standards-based lessons and demonstrations, and theme-specific activities.

The topic for this month is SPACE MINING! Learn about why we would mine in places other than earth and participate in space mining activities and engineering challenges.
