The Regional History & Genealogy department will be closed on Sat., June 7 and Sat., June 14 to host the 2025 Pikes Peak Regional History Symposium.

East Library will begin an elevator modernization on Wed., March 12.

It is difficult to imagine Colorado Springs without Red Rock Canyon Open Space, but do you know how this haven for recreation came about? Red Rock Canyon hosts much more than a spectacular trail system, learn more about the storied history of this property and discover its fascinating geological attributes on a ~3-mile hike with Park Ranger Wesley Hermann. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather to enjoy this easy-moderate trek.

This event will be held at Red Rock Canyon Open Space: 3550 High St. We will meet at the Sand Canyon Parking Lot.
